Colors Shapes Patterns

I was traveling through central South Carolina in April of 2009 when I stumbled across a series of little abandoned cottages by the side of the state road. I turned around, parked off the side of the road, and started shooting. This is the front wall and window of one of the cottages. The composition is simple, just lines, colors, and shapes. I like the color, and the slightly eerie look to the window. It feels like there is something inside that I can't see, but is seeing me. The little tree growing up along the wall breaks up the color and flat stretch of wall. There was very little post processing done here. Just a contrast adjustment to bring up the colors, and a levels adjustment to remove a slight color cast from the curtains.
